Instructions for Reviewers

This page demonstrates our Human Agent messaging feature:

  1. Select a Facebook Page from the dropdown menu below to view customer conversations
  2. Click on any conversation in the left panel to view the message thread
  3. Type and send messages as a human agent - all messages are sent by real people, not bots
  4. Observe real-time updates - new messages appear automatically without page refresh
  5. Note the time-based labels on messages showing when human_agent tag is required

Why Human Agent Permission is Required

Facebook Messenger's 24-Hour Rule:

  • Within 24 hours: Businesses can reply freely to customer messages without special tags
  • ⚠️ After 24 hours: Businesses must use the human_agent message tag to reply

This permission allows our customer service agents to respond to customer inquiries even after the 24-hour window has passed, ensuring no customer is left without support.

What You'll See: Conversations are labeled to show whether they're within the 24-hour window (green badge) or require the human_agent tag (orange badge). This helps agents understand when the special permission is being used.
